Our Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) Training Course is delivered online, for 24/7 global access. It is a comprehensive, 50-minute course that walks employees through the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, its anti-bribery provisions, its accounting provisions, the enforcement authority, the international context of the law, and related violation penalties.
The training course emphasizes the provisions of FCPA guidelines so individuals understand they cannot offer, promise, or authorize to pay anything of value to a foreign official, with the intent of influencing any act or decision of the official in his or her official capacity, in order to obtain or retain business or otherwise gain an improper business advantage.
By providing a clear explanation of the law, relevant examples, scenarios, definitions of key terms, and incorporating knowledge checks throughout, our FCPA training course will enable your organization to meet compliance requirements, and ensure your audience understands the law and its provisions. Upon completion of the course, users will also be given a summary and a final test.
General Audience – Organizations’ employees and managers with whom the law applies to. The law pertains to all U.S. persons and certain foreign issuers of securities. Furthermore, the anti-bribery provisions of the FCPA now also apply to foreign firms and persons who cause an act in furtherance of such a corrupt payment to take place within the territory of the United States.
The course can be hosted in GLS’ OnDemand Learning Portal, where you can track, report and follow-up quickly to ensure learners are accessing and completing the training program.
