Global Learning Systems (GLS) was recognized for the second year in a row by Gartner, Inc.’s October 2016 Magic Quadrant for its overall ability to execute and its completeness of vision within the Security Awareness Computer-Based Training (CBT) market.
Larry Cates, president of GLS, said the company was pleased with the award. ‘I’m proud of our high standards of excellence and having been recognized by Gartner for the second year in a row, as we continue to expand and perfect our products in the ever-changing online marketplace. We work hard to ensure the integrity of our courses and to grow our offerings so that they keep pace with the increased threat to computer security. We will continue our efforts to thwart would-be hackers and disrupters.”
The four Magic Quadrant sections are Niche Players, Challengers, Visionaries, and Leaders. According to Gartner’s definition of Leaders: “The security education CBT Leaders quadrant is composed of vendors that: (1) provide solutions that are a good match to market requirements; (2) have been the most successful in building a customer base and revenue stream within the CBT market; and (3) have a relatively high viability rating (due to CBT revenue). In addition to providing CBT that is a good match to customer requirements, Leaders also show evidence of superior vision and execution for anticipated requirements. They typically have relatively high market share and/or strong revenue growth, and provide a range of CBT capabilities that target education and behavior management. They have demonstrated positive customer feedback for effective CBT and related services, as well as focusing intently on anticipating market needs and evolving accordingly.”
Global Learning Systems (GLS) has been providing online training for over 25 years, and has delivered training solutions to over 1 million end-users globally. With a growing library of security awareness courses, best practice modules, and short videos, our clients have the option to choose the program and topics that effectively meet the requirements of their organizations.
Our clients have an option to incorporate a PhishTrain solution in which simulated phishing exploits test employee responses and expose gap areas, then immediately receive training to capture the moment of learning; this drives positive behavior change. GLS leverages the combination of courses, best practice modules, videos, exploit tests, posters, newsletters, and email templates in delivering continuous learning. This ensures that security best practices remain at the forefront of employees’ minds year-round.
With tracking and reporting capabilities, clients have the tools to show a return on investment and the effectiveness of the training at the same time they identify areas for targeted training including GLS Anti-Phishing, Social Media Compliance, and Role-Based OWASP, FCPA, HIPAA or PCI courses.
GLS recently won additional awards recognizing its security awareness program, which include the best of eLearning!, InfoSecurity Guide Product Award, and Network Security Product Guide Awards.
